Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, I support organisational & individual transformation, by developing emotionally intelligent & agile leaders & teams. Inhouse or virtual. Globally.

An industrial engineer & coach with 25 years of international leadership experience in industry, I bring a full 360 view, and tons of empathy. (Isabell, CEO of Dittmar Consult).

Isabell’s Story

Years ago, when I was a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and was struggling in a project like Don Quijote with the windmills ;-), the managing partner said to me:

“Isabell, you have everything you need in you.
You only need to bring it on the road!”
.

But: How the … should I “bring it on the road”? I had no clue!

I simply wanted to create and drive things forward! But how?!

With international experience, a top university in my pocket, several further diplomas, plus the IQ, I had everything I needed - at least I thought so.

But I wasn’t creating the impact I wanted to. I wasn’t in balance. And, when I later pursued my career in industry up to board level, I wasn’t always the leader and person I sought to be.

Honestly, a red thread throughout my path was: I got frustrated by outer constraints, and had inner nagging doubts.

So: Why did I run against invisible walls? Why did I sometimes poke people in the head without wanting to? Why did I loose power games without even seeing them? …?

Fast forward: How did I find out?

I had – looking backwards I say "fortunately" - a serious car accident. And, as a result, experienced burnout.

That was my catalyst and chance to finally transform.

I first (of course) delved deeper into the subject matter. I sought training and coaching at renowned professionals, much of it on emotional intelligence with a neuroscientific basis.

I gradually learned to perceive organizations, people - and myself - as they are, and to accept them - and myself - as is. To regulate myself and find inner balance. To perceive obstacles and use them as fitness partners (most of the time ;-). To navigate whatever and whoever comes with empathy, compassion - and much more ease and joy.

In a nutshell: I developed my “EQ”.

I am still not perfect (and luckily so!). I still sometimes struggle (hey, I’m human!). But I am happy with myself, and finally “bring” who I am and what I have “on the road”. And I find meaning in what I do and can really make a difference.

This took a lot of time & effort. You can have it easier. I’ll show you how.

“ Isabell unlocked some very important elements of my life. Through visualisation and asking the right questions, we got to some real breakthrough points, for which I am very grateful. It is not easy to get to the deepest layers of someone’s being and find the real treasures right there. And Isabell did exactly that. She also handed me some very useful tools, to use in every day life, so that I can keep making progress, now that our coaching time has ended. ”
